Swiss Bank “Swissquote” launches “Tezos” staking
A Swiss bank engaged in online trading is expanding the range of tools for investing in the cryptocurrency market by launching Tezos staking.
The Swiss complex has issued an official statement to users: the staking of the XTZ (Zoster) cryptocurrency is now possible. The income will be about 5.7 percent per year. The minimum is 1 Tezos unit. Remuneration is paid in the period of 34-47 days. Further payments will be made to users once every 3 days.
Staking will be performed only by cryptocurrencies that have or are going to implement the Proof of Stake mechanics. The Swissquote complex of companies will launch a personal exchange for cryptocurrency transactions around the summer of 2022. Staking campaigns will make it possible to attract users.
The bank allows users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies through CF24 contracts. This activity of the bank allowed to increase the revenues of the group of companies in the amount of about 500 million dollars for 2021.
At the beginning of the year, the Swiss bank announced the purchase of Keytrade Bank Luxembourg in order to “accelerate entry into the European market and expand the range of opportunities.”
